SmartMeet subscription terms (version 2026-10-01)

1. The service. SmartMeet is a browser-based video meeting service with cloud recording, offered by AthleticsMD (IPMS).

2. Free trial. A new subscriber gets one free trial of 7 days. A card is required to start it. One trial per person and per card.

3. Automatic renewal. When the trial ends, the card on file is charged $15 (US dollars) and again every month on the same day, until you cancel. If you have had a trial before, the first month is charged when you add your card.

4. Cancelling. You can cancel at any time on your account page, in one click. Your subscription then runs to the end of the trial or of the month already paid, and no further charge is made. Payments already made are not refunded except where the law requires.

5. Failed payments. If a charge is declined, we try again on days 1, 3 and 7 and email you. You can keep hosting during those seven days. After that, hosting stops until a card goes through. People you invited can always join a meeting someone else hosts.

6. Recordings. Each subscriber has 1024 MB of cloud recording space. Recordings are yours to download and delete at any time, including after your subscription ends: sign in and open your recordings. Starting meetings and making new recordings needs an active subscription or trial.

7. Health information. If you are a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA, the Business Associate Agreement you accept at sign-up governs protected health information in the service.

8. Acceptable use. Do not use SmartMeet to break the law, to record anyone without the consent the law requires, or to disrupt the service for others. We may suspend an account that does.

9. Changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a change to the price or these terms takes effect. You can cancel before then.
